So, news of new N.E.R.D. is welcome, particularly because, as expected, theyre flashing some new looks. And we dig at least one of them: The sax n double-bass verses kill, but the hooks are soporifically smoothed out and the “all the girls standing in the line…” line is just another slice of “B.O.O.T.A.Y.” Dont think Apes & Androids will sound like this anytime soon.
